The new Ohjaamo (One-Stop Guidance Centre) in Loviisa has started operations at Kuningattarenkatu 18. The services provided by the centre are free of charge and no appointment is needed. Ohjaamo offers young people low-threshold assistance in planning the future, applying for a job, and finding work try-out, job or training opportunities. The centre also provides support in financial matters and in filling in forms, and advice on finding an apartment and on housing in general.
The project is implemented with funding from the European Social Fund. Ohjaamo helps unemployed persons between 15 and 30 years of age who are not currently in employment, education or training, and whose position in the labour market is poor. The aim is to provide young people all the services that they need under one roof.
Starting at the beginning of April, VMP Varamiespalvelu will have a pop-up stand at the Ohjaamo guidance centre in Loviisa on Wednesdays from 10 to 14. You can follow actual events on Loviisa Ohjaamo FB page.
The Ohjaamo guidance centre in Loviisa cooperates with the PALKO – Employment service experiments in Porvoo and Loviisa project, which is implemented jointly by Posintra Oy and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Science. The project aims to enhance employment in the Porvoo and Loviisa regions.
